Education Dr. Mark A. Goedecke attended Southern Illinois University as an undergraduate where he earned a degree in Zoology and Chemistry. Dr. Goedecke was a four-year, division I swimmer during his time there. He then attended MUSC in Charleston, South Carolina where he received his Doctorate of Dentistry in 1997.
Training Dr. Goedecke spent the next four years as a dentist for the U S Air Force. While in the Air Force, Dr. Goedecke received the Meritorious Service Medal for leadership in dentistry. He later opened his own private practice, Goedecke Family Dentistry, in January 2003. Dr.Goedecke is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction only 10% of dentists have attained. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, and the immediate past president of the South Carolina Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr Goedecke, Cindy, and the whole staff are fantastic, There were two occasions where I had dental emergencies and they got me right in both times, they are always on time, friendly and professional. Dr. Goedecke takes the time to explain the procedure and what to expect. I highly recommend them!

the staff at goedecke family dentistry is very friendly and knowledgeable. i was very comfortable white i was there, my hygienist was very skilled and made my experience very pleasant.
