If you ever need dental work done, DO NOT go to Munhall Dental. I went there in October last year for a filling and the dentist, Heather McVay, has caused me an unbelievable amount of pain. After the filling I was in a lot of pain and eventually my face swelled up. I went back to Heather not once but TWICE and both times she said there was nothing wrong and even denied seeing any swelling. Though the second time she was so merciful (extreme sarcasm) and gave me a prescription for ibuprofen and an antibiotic for a possible infection. Kinda contradicting, right? According to her there was nothing wrong with me, yet she gives me two prescriptions?

Fast forward to last month my face is now swelled up again and I'm in excruciating pain. It felt as if someone was taking a knife and and stabbing my gum in between my teeth. I ended up going to the emergency room because the pain was so intolerable and they tell me I have something called, cellulitis, and it's caused by an infection in my tooth, the same tooth Heather worked on. Once I'm given another antibiotic I then go see another dentist who tells me while Heather was putting my filling in, she damaged the nerve in my tooth causing an infection.

Because of Heather's negligence I was given two options: Get a close to 2,000 dollar root canal or have the tooth removed. I can't afford the root canal so I have no choice but to remove the tooth. Thanks, Heather! You are just such a professional. Oh, and for anyone thinking perhaps it's just an unfortunate accident on her part, keep in mind the entire time she's doing the work she's talking to her assistant about her social life! Hey Heather, when you're working on a patient you might want to focus on that not about what you're going to do after work, who you seen at a social gathering, etc. Do your damn job!

That's all. Sorry for the long rant I just wanted to give everyone a warning about Heather McVay and Munhall Dental.
