I was enormously impressed with Russell Edman. He actually greeted me as I arrived (something, shockingly, most professionals don't; and it's SO important to welcome a patient). Edman was entirely engaged during my appointment. He gave me the impression he had all the time I needed and he wasn't buzzing between me and several other patients simultaneously. He discussed pros and cons of each possibility fully and was willing to dilate on a number of peripheral subjects as well. The man is cheerful and very good-natured. I shall return to him without question.
