Dr. Pamela A. Bouton and her staff at Hiawatha Dental Center offer a full range of dental services – preventive, restorative and cosmetic dentistry; and oral surgery for the entire family. All ages from infants to seniors are welcome.

We provide affordable, quality care and use the latest equipment and techniques to make you visit as stress free as possible. Local anesthesia or light sedation is available too.

Hiawatha Dental Center is conveniently located in the center of Owego, NY at the corner of Liberty and Main Streets. There is plenty of free parking in the Rite Aid Plaza parking lot. Our building and parking lot is handicapped accessible.

Appointments are available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8AM to 5PM. We are closed on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Dr. Bouton was born and raised in Apalachin, NY. She obtained her BS in Chemistry at the SUNY Binghamton (Binghamton University). She earned her doctorate in dentistry at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo, NY. and completed two additional post doctoral programs; a General Practice Residency at St Josephs Hospital in Syracuse . NY. and an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Bouton returned home and opened the Hiawatha Dental Center in Owego, NY. where she practices. She is a member of the ADA, Sixth District Dental Society, and Broome County Dental Society.

Services At Hiawatha Dental our goal is to help you keep your gums and teeth healthy today and every day. When you come in for a routine cleaning and check up you get more than cleaner, nicer smile. You leave knowing that you’ve had a full gum and bone exam and an oral cancer screening too. If any problems or potential problems are found, Dr. Bouton and her staff will develop a customized treatment program that help you keep your teeth and gums in good shape for as long as possible.

Dr. Bouton provides restorative treatments like tooth colored fillings, root canal treatments, and non-surgical gum (periodontal) treatments to combat receding or inflamed gums when they are needed. Extractions are sometimes necessary and can be done at Hiawatha Dental Center, worry-free using local anesthesia or light sedation.

When one or more teeth need to be removed, they need to be replaced. You have a wide range of options available to you – removable and fixed bridges, tooth implants as well as full and partial dentures. Implant secured, snap-in dentures are also available should you need them. Hiawatha Dental center can repair and reline existing dentures so that they fit and work better.

While healthy teeth and gums are important for your physical health and a good looking, photogenic smile boosts your sense of well being. Discolored or misshapen teeth can be made attractive with just the right cosmetic dental service. Veneers, crowns, bonding and tooth colored fillings and both in-office and in-home bleaching are just a few of the options we offer that can improve the attractiveness of your smile.

We also can make custom mouthpieces to treat sleep apnea or jaw disorders (TMD/TMJ) or sports mouthguards for adults and children that protect teeth from accidental injury.
