I've known Fred since we went to college together, although I didn't know he was intending to be a dentist. I moved to a different part of the country and didn't know his home area. When I had a later remarriage, my wife talked about this dentist who was terrific. She seas fearful of pain and raved about how he always ensured that she had none. I have had lots of dental work over the years and tense up, since childhood, often having back pain afterwards. She mentioned his last name and I said, "funny, I went to college with someone by that name. I finally went when I moved closer to Newark, and discovered it was the same Fred I knew. I've been getting services for 30 years since. He's great and doesn't hesitate to recommend someone else if I need a service he doesn't provide (e.g., implants). My wife thinks he's close to God status and I understand why. I would recommend Dr. Hicks to anyone.
