I was hoping they would give me an estimate BEFORE the service, but not until after the procedure did they tell me that my insurance did not cover the procedure and that I had to pay immediately out of pocket. It turned out that my insurance DID cover the procedure, and that they were using the out-of-pocket payment to ensure patients would return only to them for the permanent crown - where the real money was. My insurance company confirmed this! They referred me to an oral surgeon who disagreed with his diagnosis and refused to treat me because I have Fibromyalgia. I was treated terribly. I had to find another oral surgeon on my own for a root canal, leaving me with a hefty bill from the one who refused to treat me. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. They didn't follow through with almost everything they told me I would get when I first arrived. I feel like they slighted me. They didn't seem too happy to be helping me. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but they could have been nicer. The staff must have not been trained very well. Now that I'm trying to make my follow-up FOR that permanent crown, which was delayed due to a sewage burst in their office, their number is out of service. This is not a reputable husband-wife dentist team.
