Dr. Laifer has been providing General, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Dentistry for the people of Cresskill and vicinity since 1978.

A graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, he completed a rigorous 2 year post-graduate residency at Long Island College Hospital as Chief Resident. Soon after, he received a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Laifer has been an Attending Dentist and instructor at Englewood Hospital since 1979.

Dr. Laifer provides modern and gentle restorative dental care to his patients, including white, esthetic fillings, bonding, crowns, bridgework, prosthetic implants, tooth whitening, root canal therapy, periodontal treatment (gum care) and many other procedures.

Dr. Laifer is the best dentist I have ever had! I have been going to him for 20 years as well as my husband and 2 adult kids. He is knowledgeable and competent and very caring. His assistant, Helen, is amazing as are his dental hygienists. I have a lot of dental issues and he always knows how to address them, or who to send me to if he can't- endodontist and oral surgeon.
