I saw Daniel Smith for a routine filling. My wife had told him I didn't think he was rough enough . I had told her that as a former dental assistant while I was in the Air force I was used to a somewhat more aggressive approach to sub gingival plaque removal. When he looked at the chart he had a note attached to it that I didn't think he was rough enough. While filling my tooth with amalgam he used very strong force to pack the amalgam and broke my tooth in half. Then his office suddenly closed with no explanation. Doing some extensive research online I found him to be under investigation and found guilty for buying and prescribing himself narcotics in both his and his wives name. This abuse was extensive thousands of pills. He was finally able to reopen his clinic placed on a five year probation but I say find someone else for your Dental needs as his character is suspect at best .
