I started going to Dr. Dworak in 2014 after moving to Omaha due to my husband's job transfer. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the office, the office staff was lovely, and Dr. Dworak was very charming. I had cleanings and fillings that went well, but in 2015 Dr. Dworak placed an implant for me. I remember his telling me that after reviewing my x-ray my sinus was low, so he was going to place a low profile post/implant. The charge for this procedure was $3,138.00. It was supposed to last a lifetime, but it worked it's way out of my gum within a few months. I pulled it the rest of the way out of my gum myself one evening. My husband and I have since moved to the Chicago area and I went to a dentist here who referred me to an oral surgeon. The oral surgeon let me know that I should have had a sinus lift before the implant was placed. He said that my dentist (Dr. Dworak) had placed it so shallow in my gum that there was no way it would stay, it was like putting a fence post in sand. I contacted Capehart family dentistry twice about some kind of refund or compensation. I was told the office manager would review my case and get back to me. This never happened. Now, 2 years later I'm left with no other choice than to leave honest reviews about this establishment. I'm saddened that a business can charge thousands of dollars for an implant that lasts only a few months and was doomed to fail from the beginning. It is my suggestion that if you need anything other than a routine cleaning or filling you should go elsewhere for services. Ginger S
