I went in to this office to have a cleaning 2 weeks ago. Now I have an infected wisdom tooth. I called to get a prescription for antibiotics and pain meds. I was told that it would cost 69.00 for an office visit. I went in and the dental hygienist asked me if I would like Dr. (such and such) to look at my tooth, which is our oral surgeon. I asked what it would cost for him to look at it (somehow knowing that they were trying to add an extra fee to my visit) When she came back she said that the regular dentist could look at it and it would be the same price. She just looked at it. When I went to pay, I saw that the oral surgeon consult fee was 164.00. Of course, they were trying to charge me more! They handed me a prescription for antibiotics and scheduled me an appointment with the oral surgeon. No pain meds at all and no referral as to what to get to take care of the pain. I have since heard of many many other times that they RIP people off. I will never go back again! THANKS FOR NOTHING, DR. LANE & ASSOCIATES!
