My experience may be different from others and it shouldn't be used to turn anyone away from this dentist. This dentist was nice during my consultation. He urged me to setup a follow up appointment within a week after consultation which would have been great and easy to do if he himself were going to pay my fees and hire a sitter for my children. I was unable to come back until a few months later when funds were available and my children would be cared for while I'm at his office getting treated. His energy was great as he chatted with patients across the hall and chuckled with them. This made my nerves calm a bit, that is until he came in to start on me. His persona was different, he spoke to me in a cold, firm and rude tone. He made sure to let me know through his body language and attitude that he had a problem with me not coming back when he felt I should've. He says I see you finally made it back, in a sarcastic tone and then wanted to know why now. So I'm thinking he'd understand my situation. I tell him that I'm a stay at home mom of 5 kids under age 8 and that my husband works away from home 5 days a week and longer depending on the weather. Day care is expensive and I will never hand my kids over to a stranger. He then did everything but understand and have compassion. He instead told me in little words that my decision to not come right back in was my fault that my situation had gotten a little worse. His attitude remained cold throughout my surgery. My body temperature was elevated and I became nauseated because I wanted to get up and leave but I stayed because I didn't know when I'd be able to be seen again. After I finished he said we were done and his assistant would take care of me and schedule my next appointment. Rude! I cried to my husband and he was like any husband "upset". He wanted me to go to a different dentist but I decided to try this guy one more time thinking hey maybe he had a bad day. I was wrong because he behaved the same way during the second set of fillings. I called in pain, he called back late night when every business was closed and I'd finally fell asleep. I called back in pain again in the area of a tooth that he filled and couldn't reach him so I went to the emergency room. I then called his office and left a message with the receptionist and she told me that my insurance coverage wouldn't start over for the new coverage year for about three more months. So I told her no problem I still need to be seen. She then told me he was on vacation and wouldn't be returning for another week or two. Of course with my level of pain that wasn't going to work for me. She referred me to a dentist that take emergency visits and I was seen immediately and given antibiotics at Elkins Family Dental by Chad. Chad tells me that my pain came from a tooth filled by Weymouth and he'd asked if Weymouth told me he drilled to deep to my nerve. I said no. In my head in thinking oh hell no. I took Weymouths mistreatment to end up with nerve damage and now I'm being sent to Dr. Bruggmen for an extraction! I made my choice to never go back to Weymouth and to file an insurance claim to make them aware of why I was switching providers. I asked Elkins to have me as their patient and they said yes. The bad part is I trusted another incompetent dentist to put me first and during my claim investigation Dr. Chad at Elkins totally lied on my claim saying he never said what I told them. I'm think is this a joke because he definitely verbally said that to me. I'm thinking now why would I claim you said this of you didn't especially if I wanted you to be my new dentist?! I was flabbergasted but then spoke to my dentist from my hometown with a great history and he said that many doctors will lie to save their fellow doctor associate/friend. So I immediately felt like dentist in this city can't be trusted and I don't feel safe under their care. Dr. Weymouth sends me a letter 7 months after I contacted his office in pain and two months after my claim to say how important his reputation is to him and how he was releasing me as his patient. Dr. Weymouth in my opinion is incompetent, unprofessional, uncaring and does not care to have an understanding of those on a lower level than himself nor does he care to correct his wrong. I am now making plans to travel back and forth to Florida if I have to in order to get proper treatment from competent, professional, advanced and caring dentist that I'm familiar with. I would never recommend anyone to Weymouth. I wouldn't recommend anyone to see Dr. Chad at Elkins Family Dental do to his dishonesty. My fears of going to the dentist have worsened. As I said earlier this is my personal experience. Everyone will have a different experience. Good luck! By the way, Dr. Weymouths staff were always very nice!

Their staff is extremely helpful and always a pleasure to work with when I need help. They are very professional, and make the whole experience that much better. Dr Weymouth and his staff have always gone above my expectations to ensure my insurance covered most of my treaments. Things got done right the first time!!!
