Dr. Dean is a superior clinician, based on my experience with many other physicians, including many psychiatrists. Only a few downsides to seeing her - her notes are handwritten and not cc'd to referring docs, according to my understanding; the practice is cash only; and most disconcerting, the receptionist has an interpersonal manner that can be generously characterized as icy. She says all the right words, but wow, rarely have I encountered such a personality in an office staff member. Makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck. I guess it's worth putting up with her, but you'd think a very successful practice could do better.
