Dr. Biocic is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist in Rochester Michigan who was recently recognized in Hour magazine for his nomination as top doctor in obstetrics and gynecology by his peers. He was also selected to be included in the 2009 Consumer Research Council's Guide to America's Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Biocic currently holds positions on the medical review and CME committees at Crittenton Hospital, where he is an on-staff physician. He most recently held the position of Chairman of the OB/GYN Quality Care Committee, and in the past served as both Vice Chief of Staff and Chief of OB/GYN. Dr. Biocic has maintained his private practice in Rochester, Michigan, for over 33 years. Dr. Biocic's dedication to women's health care is the reason he specialized and became board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He wanted to make sure that all women receive the best possible care and benefit from the latest advancements in women's health. Dr. Biocic is very experienced in the treatment of abnormal pap smears, laparoscopicsurgeries for the diagnosis of pelvic endometriosis, pelvic pain and pelvic inflammatory disease, tubal ligation, tubal occlusion, excision or drainage of ovarian cysts, and lysis of adhesions. He also specializes in surgeries such as the vaginal sling for stress incontinence, rectocele, cystocele repair, myomectomy, and abdominal or vaginal hysterectomies.

Dr. Biocic received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. He continued his education working at a children's hospital in Toronto, Canada, in 1972. He completed his internship and residency in family medicine and surgical assistance at Euclid General Hospital in Euclid, Ohio.

In 1975, Dr. Biocic completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and at Pontiac General Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan.

He is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and has been on staff at Crittenton Hospital Medical Center since 1975, where he has held many positions. Dr. Biocic is currently on the continuing medical education and medical review committees at Crittenton. He most recently held the position of Chairman of the OB/GYN Quality Care Committee, and in the past held the positions of Vice Chief of Staff and Chief of OB/GYN.

Dr. Biocic has maintained the warmth, compassion and privacy of his solo practice in the Rochester, Michigan, area since 1975. He lives in Rochester with Lillian, his wife of 44 years. Dr. Biocic enjoys spending time with his two children and five grandchildren, being with friends, fishing, boating, and reading.
