Dr. Patel - what a compassionate doctor. He saw my mom (92 yrs old) only a few weeks before she passed away. Mom was an emergency case and the office saw her right away. My mom was ill for 8 yrs, she saw many doctors, was in and out of hospitals. Dr. Patel - only saw her once - yet, the interest he showed to my mother was genuine. He took time to explain what was happening and actually seemed like he truly cared. Well, I don't know how Dr. Patel found out, but after mom went home with the Lord, he was the ONLY physician that sent our family a condolence after mom passed. He hand wrote the message and I will never forget it. She knew some of her doctors for years and years, and not one even acknowledged her departure. The advice he gave mom was also the best she ever received from any doctor.
