I'm sure he is a good doctor, but went for an appointment, was told I could show up early and they would try to get me in. Didn't get in early, didn't even make the original appointment, left after waiting over an hour and still hadn't seen the Doctor.
Was very frustrated.

Dr. Pelachyck is a nice man. He cured a facial fungus for me when another Port Huron dermatologist didn't know what it was.

HOWEVER, my husband had a facial mole which I insisted he have the doctor check, for two years in a row. Dr. Pelachyck told him it was nothing - but never did a biopsy on it.

Finally, I said, "Screw it. The doctor is wrong." I made my husband go to a Port Huron surgeon and have the mole removed. It came back "early melanoma," which required a hospital surgery and now constant observance from the dermatologists at U of M Dermatology Clinic.

If you have a suspicious mole, I would advise you to bypass all Port Huron dermatologists and either go to a surgeon and have them remove it right away or see a specialist in Ann Arbor.

I knew his mole was cancerous. Why didn't Dr. Pelachyck?
