His final tour of duty was on the faculty of the Naval Dental School, Bethesda, MD, retiring as Captain, USN in 1992. He currenly maintains a practice in prosthodontics in Rockville, MD and also is an Associate Clinical Professor on the Faculty of the University of Maryland, School of Dental Medicine and Surgery in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Tabacco lectures at the University of Maryland in the field of "Occlusion and Mandibular Movement"
