I was introduced to Dr. Canning while in the emergency room of Milford Regional and informed i had to have my gallbladder removed immediately. He was extremely rushed and most of my questions and concerns had to be answered by the nurses at the hospital, i understand he's a surgeon but youre the one to be cutting me open to remove an organ, find 5 minutes. Post op, supposed to have an appointment with him, he's not available and i can see the assistant. I still wanted to see the man that shook my hand and removed my gallbladder and was told i was to follow up with him directly. Finally a MONTH later and one - three calls every day, even AFTER informing them that i was still having pain three weeks post op, he only has friday. Thats fine. So this Friday after 5 weeks of surgery and still pain happening thats not normal out of the surgery so long, i will get my chance to see the doctor and hopefully his availability or lack there of wont result in any further complications.
