I gave this establishment a two stars because of their service. While making the appointment, I strictly told them I only wanted a cleaning ONLY. They told me because I was a new patient, I needed x-rays. I responded that I had recently done x-rays within the past 6months with my prior dentist and did not want one because of the extra fees. They gave me a hard time about that but accepted the x-rays.

The experience was fine. I got my teeth cleaned. I met the Dentist and he looked at my teeth for two minutes and walked out.

When I got my bill, apparently I got more than I bargained for. They charged me for a Comp oral exam and Prophylaxis Adult. I called them not understanding the language and told them my cleaning should have been free. They told me that one of those wording means cleaning and the other one is an exam from the dentist. I told them I felt slighted because I didn't know I was going to be charged for something extra. And the receptionist did not budge and told me this is the way it works. I then responded that it wasn't fair because I'm not in the dentist industry and I should have been told. She still didn't try to make me feel better about the situation and I still had to pay the remaining balance. It was unfair and I will NEVER go back.
