I read reviews often on many products and services. My family and I were patients of LV Dental for 5 years. No problems until the last 10 months or so. One of my family members needed added dental treatment. The clinic didn't give the courtesy update to us that we would be exceeding our yearly maximum as a result of this issue. I've been in the insurance and claims indusry for 14 years and it is imperative that one keeps their customers informed of any added put of pocket expense, LV Dental did not. I take some % of blame as I should've been more engaged with the dental coverage and limits, but when all the treatment we ever get is preventative, the exceeding the maximum is not on the forefront of things to consider. I believe in this modern day insurance world we live in, we need to be kept informed by our respective providers.
Also be aware of their $50 charge for cancellations.
