Dr Polakoff is smart and knowledgeable in his field, serious and professional. Eighteen years ago Dr Polakoff prescribed medication for me that changed my life. He also helped my daughter through a difficult few years as a teenager. I highly recommend him.

After 25 years, when I informed Dr. Polakoff I would be on medicare, he immediately said he did not accept Medicare patients, acted like he did not even know me ( he charges $300.00 for 45 minites ) and basically tried to fire me! Said I could go to another doctor. He recommended a REAL quack, most awful experience. All he is interested in is $$$. Real hypocrite. I would only see him a few times a year. He would spend the whole time looking at the clock. Not very helpful. I would never recommend him.
