I went to see Dr. Trimble for monitoring of my HPV. Before switching to her office, I had an operation to remove pre-cancerous cells which was performed by another doctor. The reason I switched was because the doctor who performed the original operation was too aggressive for me, treatment-wise. I chose Dr. Trimble because she was a specialist, and only had one visit with her, because I felt that her bedside manner was cold and even rude. During our first and only appointment, she asked me: "What do you do when your cervix isn't being assaulted", or something along those lines. Meaning, what did I do for a living. I don't remember if that was word for word, but that quote is very close to what she said. It was strange coming from a doctor referring to a surgery I had just months before. The topic was sensitive for me as I only learned after having the surgery that it was unnecessarily invasive and I had questions about fertility issues, etc. Her comment made me feel uncomfortable going there again, despite the fact that she's apparently one of the best specialists in the area. It was the worst experience I've ever had seeing a doctor.
