Dr. Shoemaker is an excellent physician and researcher. A mold patient's failure to successfully get away from ongoing mold exposure is a common reason for not responding well to Dr. Shoemaker's protocol. Naysayers should check the patient's ability to TRULY avoid ongoing mold exposures before commenting on any medical protocol and before judging a physician behind the protocol. Patients who are able to TRULY avoid ongoing mold exposure have responded well to Dr. Shoemaker's protocol. Mold patients typically suffer memory and other neurological challenges (mold being a neurotoxin!) so even if they do successfully avoid ongoing mold exposure, there is still the question of how well the mold patient can remember to adhere to the protocol with consistency, accuracy, and reliability. Many mold patients have to repeatedly move from one place to the next in search of a clean and safe dwelling, are tied up in legal battles relating to the toxic mold being caused by builder code violations and/or builder fraud, and are stressed out on a level they've never experienced before, so these factors must be taken into consideration when evaluating the success of any protocol or the merits of the physician behind the protocol. A medical protocol is only as good as the patient's ability to follow that protocol.

They were very qualified and knowledgeable. I could tell that they've been doing their job well for quite a while. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. Their office was well organized and clean. I could tell they took a lot of time making sure it was presentable. They're really great about taking their time with me, and they don't mind answering my questions. I've never felt like an annoyance to them no matter how many questions I have. What I really loved was how friendly the doctor and staff were here. I felt so welcome and will definitely be with them for the long haul.
