I was referred to Dr Garza through an aquintance. I had some issues going on with a cracked molar. My fiance also needed some dental work done at the same time. So we went to Dr Garza....what a mistake. The office was pretty clean and staff was pretty friendly but those were the only good points. Dr Garza was very pushy, like an overbearing mother in law. She ended up extracting my tooth. The next day I discovered that there were shards of broken tooth still inside of my tooth socket but my gum was already healing over them. I called the office and was told that I would have to pay additional fees to have the pieces of tooth removed even though the doctor should have cleaned them out to begin with. But thats not the bad part. For the last several months I have been recieving bills for $15-$20 every week. I paid all of my out of pocket at the time of the appointment and was told that there was no remaining balance. Yet bill after bill comes and I pay them and then I get more. She quoted me a low price to get me in the door and gouged me after the fact. Sounds like a mixup right. But my fiance had the same thing going on, her dental work was more involved and we get bill after bill. My fiance has gone to another dentist and has come to find out that the work Dr Garza did wasnt even needed. In fact, even though she took many many xrays somehow she missed a gigantic wisdom tooth pushing against all her other teeth which is what was the cause of the pain to begin with. So now we are down $800 for an root canal that wasnt needed, $300+ to yank a tooth, piles of xrays that werent even looked at, and the bills still come. Heres the kicker, so my fiance needed a referral to see an oral surgeon and called Garzas office. They want $100 to write a note for the insurance so she can go to the oral surgeon. Yes $100 to write a note. We have paid over $300 in additional bills and each time the office girls say that we have no remaining balance.....until the next bill shows up. BEWARE
