This is one of the most unprofessional dental offices I have ever had the displeasure to encounter. The receptionist has no interest in helping anyone beyond the basic requirements of her position. She couldn't even answer simple questions about insurance coverages and didn't care to at least try and find the answers to what should have been some basic questions. Amanda, the dental assistant, was extremely immature and unprofessional to the point of actually STOMPING off because I was asking questions about the procedure I was having. Dr. Uhl, a very young and obviously inexperienced dentist, had to "google" how to finish my procedure. They were obviously overbooked the day I went in, and in order to finish my procedure while Amanda went off to take care of another patient, I had to actually hold the mouth rinser and rinse out my own mouth while Dr. Uhl drilled on my tooth. Bits and pieces of tooth were flying all over, my mouth was filled with grit, bits of it were going down my throat, and his anger and frustration were apparent through the remainder of the procedure. I have had severe anxiety over this experience and now it looks like I am beginning to get a gum infection. I called the office to tell them of my concern over my gum, and the receptionist told me that my infection was my "oral surgeon's fault"! I am actually calling a lawyer about this dentist today. I originally tried to save myself a dollar by going to this dirty, outdated office in the basement of Sears...don't make the same mistake I did!!! You get what you pay for!!!
