I was referred to this office by my personal dentist. The two ladies at the desk might as well just came right out and called me a Liar! I was handed a packet of paperwork to fill out. Just like all off doctor offices. The top sheet showed an amount over $400 due at time of service (today). I went to the desk to ask how they came up with the amount on the sheet. She tells me that this is the amount that I was told when they contacted me. I explained to her that no one from this office has ever spoken to me. Her response was that "her notes", while she is staring in to her monitor, states this was discussed with the patient. Again, I reiterated that I never spoke to anyone from this office! Her co-worker then chimed in saying well the referring office went over the financial requirements with you. I said no they didn't. They made the appointment for me in front of me and that was the whole conversation. My personal dentist office provided me a referral slip to bring with me and that was the extent of information. Repeatedly I explained, I had $60 dollars that I could pay right then and there. The co-worker asked me for a credit card. I don't have a credit card. She then asked well if you can't pay even half today then how will you pay the remaining amount? Will you pay with a credit card or bring payment to the office? I said, I will mail you a payment. They proceeded to tell me if I do not pay for my visit that this time slot could of went to another patient. This was handled so unprofessionally. This office has a tiny waiting room. Therefore, there really was no protection at all for my personal finances to be aired out for all patients to know. I will not go to this office nor their other branches in surrounding towns for dental work. I drove an hour one way just to be humiliated.
