I recommend every parent take their child to 3 orthodontists for evaluation before choosing a practice. We chose Dr. Patel at Prestige/Pasha because the other 2 orthodontists said our child needed braces ASAP, while he said "Let's wait a year to decide as she needs to lose a few baby teeth and get in her permanent teeth before I can tell." At the one-year follow up, Dr. Patel floored us announcing: "Her smile is so close to perfection, that it would not be worth it to put braces on her. Instead, I advise you go with a retainer at nighttime only." We saved thousands of dollars because Dr. Patel was honest.
