Dr. Khalid earned his medical degree in medicine and surgery from Nishtar Medical University, Multan, Pakistan, in 2004. He holds multiple certifications, including board certification in neurology and psychiatry (2017, United States), Internal Medicine (2011, United Kingdom), and Neurology (2012, Pakistan). He completed his neuromuscular fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee, in 2018. Ehtesham Khalid, MD, FRCPE, FCPS, is a neurologist specializing in neuromuscular medicine and autonomic disorders at Ochsner Health. He has extensive expertise in nerve conduction studies, electromyography (including single-fiber EMG), Botox therapy and occipital nerve blocks, providing comprehensive care for a wide range of neuromuscular conditions.
