I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable. I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me.

I recently had cardiac surgery (triple by-pass) at WK North. Dr. Jimmy Smith is my Cardiologist and Dr. David Hamm is my surgeon. The medical team on the Cardiac wing, from Housekeeping to the Physicians, was excellent in all respects. The nursing staff was most attentive and always cheerful, and they all seemed truly happy with their employment at the hospital. I had some complications that made my hospital stay longer than is usual (2 weeks) for the procedure that I had. The 14-day stay gave me an opportunity to see and hear what I consider is the REAL atmosphere in that wing...it could not have been any better than it was in my humble opinion.

Dr. Smith and Dr. Hamm obviously care deeply for their patient's well-being and work long hours to assure that all is well before retiring for the day. They both always showed the utmost respect for their nurses, assistants, and others.

My home is in Ruston and I certainly had other choices with regard to hospitals and doctors. I am so very pleased that my choice was WK North and these 2 fine gentlemen who are also very fine doctors.
