I am writing this on behalf of my deceased mother. I accompanied her on her office visits & a urinary tract biopsy done by Dr. Cohn. Who may have a lot of knowledge, but I him to be unethical & cowardly.

After her biopsy, which she was knocked out for the Dr. Came and told me in the waiting room and shared in front of me and everyone within earshot of me that it looked like she had cancer. He removed what he could but he recommended she see an oncologist. He wanted to see her for a follow up in a few days to discuss more. She was in recovery & would be released in a few hours.

My Mom woke up, anticipating the results the Dr., whom I repeatedly saw in the halls never came by to talk with her. I was left to tell her she had cancer & try to answer her confused & frightened questions. Not good, not good at all!

You can see here Dr. Cohn didn't follow HIPPA privacy laws or practice good patient/Dr. ethics.

When I first went to Michael Cohn, he said, I had no urine issues, no bacteria. I advised him of recurring urine problems. Because my Cat Scan didn't show anything, he didn't help. I went to a Gynecologist and recieved a diagnosis of Interstitial cystitis. My Gynecologist treated me with a prescription called Elmiron, numbed my bladder, gave me information on foods to avoid, and also gave me instillations (I think thats how you pronouce it). After my first instillation, I had pain later on that day. I was like, well maybe I should see a Urologist since they specialize in that area. I called Dr. Cohn's office, the receptionist kept telling me that I should call my Gynecologist. She was very rude and demeaning. I told her my Gynecologist diagnosed me with Intersitiual Cystitis, which is a URINE issue. I think, it would be better for me to go to a Urologist. Then, I called the other office he has in Elizabeth Town, they were telling me to call my Gynecologist. I'm like again, I have a URINE PROBLEM, I think it would be best for me to see a UROLOGIST. I have been DIAGNOSED with Interstital Cysitis. I asked for a Appointment with DR. VAUGHT because they are in the same medical practice and Dr. Vaught is in Bardstown on Wendsday's, they were like I have to ask my Supervisor to get you an appointment for tomorrow. I waited like 10 minutes. She finally came back and she said, we can't see you until 05-02-11. I was like what that is like two weeks away. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible, Service by the Receptionist and Supervisor. I asked for the Manager and guess what? She was on another call. How convienent. TERRIBLE SERVICE for Dr. Vaught and Dr. Cohn.
