My wife and I moved to Orlando a little over a year ago and have struggled to find a dentist that was friendly, professional, an expert, and reasonably priced. We were so lucky to find Andover Dental! The staff is amazingly friendly, courteous, and flexible. The dentist is the best I have experienced. I had 20 years of dental work - including a full set of crowns 17 years ago while in the military. Many prior dentists wanted to redo all the work, sell me on other cosmetics, or just not listen; thus finding a dentist is always a little nerve racking. Thanks to Andover those days are behind me. It was lucky that I broke a crown and that I found Andover Dental. Not only we’re they willing to adjust schedules to get me seen when 6 other dental offices were backed up for months, but they proved to be the best dental office we have ever visited.
Anyway, on my first - for this emergency crown repair, the staff and dentist took a lot of time reviewing my records, talking to me, asking me questions about my issues and concerns. They walked me through the process for that day and what to expect when I returned. I knew all the costs upfront- so no surprises. Back in the chair I was totally thrilled with the localized numbing tool used- I hate the sight of a syringe sticking out of my mouth and Dennis’ method not only prevented that but also kept it local- saving my whole mouth from being numb and making the recovery way faster. When taking about color for the crown we had a genuine discussion about the best match and why. He gave his opinion, versus letting me just pick, which I appreciated. The temp crown he built was better than my original. When completed it was easy to schedule my follow on appointment for the permanent crown. I travel a lot- finding dates is hard but Andover made it work! On my return visit I found the same friendly staff, I was seen promptly, and the office was as clean/professional as the first visit. When I met Dennis we talked about hobbies and he went back over what I should expect for the appointment. His demeanor and knowledge made me feel comfortable. He showed me the new crown and we talked over the coloring. He didn’t love it but I thought it wa a great—again, I was happy to see he wanted perfection. He gave me options on numbing and a placed the crown- a perfect fit. I couldn’t have been happier with the whole process. I was able to ask questions and get answers, the staff and dentist made me feel Ike I was part of their special family. I was kept aware of everything - there were no surprises with the procedure, the schedule, the costs. In the end what I like most about Andover Dental is that it isn’t another run of the mill dental office that pushes you through, treats you like a number, doesn’t care about you our your issues, doesn’t care if you come back or not, and just wants to charge your insurance for a quick fix. Andover is a very personalized dental office that provides wonderful care at a reasonable cost and makes you feel like you are one of their own. Their work is amazing - with results that will make you want to smile. If you want premier dental care Andover has set the bar!

How do I say this? Dr R. is a nice person, but as a dentist I would not go to him. I spent almost 9K to have my teeth pull and plates made. After many trips to see him they are still not correct. The bottom plate is a temp and now he wants to charge me to make a permanent one. He also wanted to do more extensive surgery. Please believe me when I say I'm not that hard to please, they just hurt very much when I try to eat with. I am almost 72 years old and a widow and I don't have the funds for additional work. My only recourse is to talk to the medical board and an attorney.
