In 1990 I experienced 2 herniated disc in lower back also a extreme bulge of another. It took 3 other doctors and 1 failed surgery to make it 10 times worse and almost complete paralyzation of my left leg.. I then read about Dr Pedersen in a magazine at the hospital I was now at for 25 days. I contacted Dr Pedersen since he happened to be in same town as I lived. After a complete examination and 2 surgeries later I was like a new man. 1 year later after proper rehab and physical training I went on to work in road construction as a concrete saw man. A very strenuous job that took a lot of body strength. And snow removal in the winters including gaining my CDL and plowing roads for hours on end. I still brag and commend the treatment I got from him. His direct attitude and my complete recovery from any extreme back pain. We all get a aching back after a hard day's work. (real work) All of the back pain pills available OTC prove that. But to this day I can outwork most 25 year olds. BTW- I am now 61 the surgeries were 30 years ago.!!!.

Written 2017. Please keep in mind this surgery was 22 years ago. Surgery 1995. Severely ruptured L4/5 & L5/S1 disks with extremely debilitating Sciatica right leg. 1.5 hour back surgery - Double Laminectomy plus other names - became a 6.5 hour surgery as Dr. Pedersen found more potential future issues once he had opened me up. Mostly had to do with enlarged vertebrae and calcium deposits.
He stayed in, fixed original reasons for surgery and prevented future problems.
Extremely satisfied with results.
