I have been seeing Dr. Komanduri for over 10 years. Isn't great at explaining in layman's terms but is an excellent doctor & extremely knowledgeable. Before seeing him at Northwestern Memorial I had been going to numerous doctors for years trying to diagnose my rare condition. He took the time to really look into my case & he figured it out.

Was called in for a consult, barged into room stating he was taking over all care. Advised him no he was to explain an EUS. Got IRATE DID NOT explain procedure.

The TRAMA SURGEONS had to explain both the EUS and ERCP procedures. When he was called in to do the ERCP the nurse started paging him at 9:30am to find out time he was going to perform procedure only to have transport show up at 1:30 pm followed by him showing up YELLING and SCREAMING at the nurse why wasn't he already down for the procedure.

Patient was on heavy narcotics an husband was present and asked about signing the consent for the procedure, said let me grab the computer bags and will go down and sign. By time he grabbed the bags and got to door was already GONE.

NO SIGNED CONSENT FOR ERCP PROCEDURE ( SCOPING).

When patient returned to room first thing that was said ". THEY DROPPED ME ON MY INCISION AND I HURT, PLEASE GET ME MY NURSE AND TRAMA TEAM TO CHECK MY LARGE INCISION!!!" Then when talking with patient asked him to smile and patients TWO FRONT TEETH WERE BROKEN, and 3 of the STAPLES HOLDING THE INCISION TOGETHER HAD BEEN POPPED OUT.

Physician = POMPUS, ARROGANT, RUDE, ABUSIVE

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM AT ALL, not even for my dying dog.

PREFORMS PROCEDURES WITH OUT THE SIGNED CONSENTS (Called the ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF PROFESSIONAL REGULATIONS & LICENSING whom advised that "YES, there SHOULD HAVE BEEN A SIGNED CONSENT opening up for LEGAL RAMIFICATIONS & if complaint were to Be filed that proper actions could be taken)"

DO NOT USE .......... RUN FOR YOUR LIFE
