Having spent 36 years in Ocala, we have made many lifelong friends in the community. Marion Dental Group is not a corporate dental office. We do not have a corporation over our shoulders attempting to dictate our treatment for financial gains nor do we cycle through different doctors every few years. Of our 100 years of combined clinical experience, almost all of it has been earned at our Marion Dental Group offices. Many of our patients have been seeing the same doctor here for 15, 20, even 30 years!

Although initially the staff was friendly enough, my experience was extremely poor. The Assistant was unable to properly create temporary crowns on 2 occasions and left me with extremely ill fitting teeth for 2 weeks. The Impressions were also poorly made causing the permanent crowns to not fit properly at all. They were too big, but Dr. Wallace was determined to force them in anyway, breaking the root of one of the teeth being replaced as well as an adjoining tooth. Although I constantly complained of my teeth being loose, It took 3 months of my complaining and returning visits to have one of the crowns finally remade. Although he knew that he caused the adjoining tooth to also be loosened, he never offered to replace that one. On top of the poor workmanship, 4 days after having the broken tooth finally repaired with a new build up and post, I was hospitalized for 10 days with a life threatening infection which I attribute directly to that office. Weeks later, when I had to return for the 2nd crown replacement I told the dr. about the infection and hospitalization. He said almost nothing at all, quickly left the treatment room never to return. I ended up going to another local dentist to have the loosened adjoining crown recemented, but will probably end up with a costly implant now.
