Dr. Abedmahmoud is an exceptionally intellectual endocrinologist, but his staff is terrible. No complaint, request, or any inquisition ever makes its way through the grapevine to his ears unless you treat the lady answering your call like an insensitive legalist. Calls go straight to voicemail during business hours, documents are lost and never sent or filed as they should be, and prescriptions are often not called in until 2 or 3 days too late. I'm about to try Dr. Rather's office in Marion out. YOU WILL ONLY BE TREATED AS A NUMBER AT Endocrine & Diabetes of Southern Illinois unless you force the situation in your favor. There are a plethora of more capable -but more importantly empathetic endocrinologists and physicians out there. Invest your time and resources elsewhere.
