I asked Dr. Karabans office three times to respond back acknowledging reading of my concerns and they seem to refuse to do so even though my complaints have been worded tactfully and respectfully. I am surprised he feels this is the best way to handle this. I feel ignored and that he doesn't care and hopes I just fade away under the carpet. I sent him the following concerns. My concerns are as follow. I felt very disappointed with their scheduling process and decided to find a different dermatologist. Their answering machine message reminds patients that they will be charged if they miss an appointment, but they called me 15 minutes before my first appointment to ask me to reschedule and then 30 minutes before this second rescheduled appointment a few weeks later to ask me to come an hour later which I couldn't without missing a personal appointment I had made thinking I would have plenty of time to do both if we went according to the original time. So for a third time I asked to reschedule and the woman reminded me to always be prepared for the possibility to wait as long as an hour leaving me to wonder how many more times do I have to go through this before I see the doctor. I know stuff happens and I love being the flexible person that lends a hand, but I thought this was going beyond that when in fact I initially made this first appointment one month ago. I am flexible and a good Joe, but I too am busy and have other people in my life depending on me to meet appointments that depend on this office at some point being able to see me when they ask me to come in.
