Went to Aspen Dental in Fairfield (for the first time) about two weeks ago. The WORST dentist experience of my life.over the weekend and I will never ever go back. I agree with other reviewers that it is a VERY unethical, shady practice, both medical and billing! I wish I had read all of the online reviews before going there. First I received the worst cleaning I've ever had. Then Dr. Irshad Mohammed told me I had two very deep cavities that needed to be filled. Of course, he then told me I didn't need novocaine (which indicated that they were NOT so deep) and filled them. All after making me sit in the chair and wait for him for 1/2 hour while the hygienist watched television!!! Two weeks after having the cavities filled I have pain in both teeth. After a visit to a REPUTABLE dentists office, I was told that the fillings were't fit properly. Luckily it was a simple adjustment.

When I went to Aspen to discuss getting my money back, they wouldn't give it to me. The billing manager kept saying that Dr. Mohammed said they were very DEEP cavities and had to be filled. In addition, they would not release my x-rays unless I paid them $10 first. ON TOP OF ALL THE OTHER FEES!!!!!

They are dishonest scam artists. Don't ever go there. I would have rated this business a "zero", but the rating system only allows for a single star.

I truly hope people read this review and even google "Aspen Dental" and read all the hundreds of complaints against these crooks. Dr (?) Mohammed clown charges you enormous fees, tells you about dental work that you don't need-(get a second opinion), the entire operation is a scam to prey on the patients finances and insurance fees. They will also charge you for exams you don't need and don't be surprise if they tell you you have gum disease and need deep cleaning when your gums are perfectly fine. They will use scare tactics by reviewing x-rays and stir up fear for you to pay for all of the unnecessary work. These Aspen Clowns Dental are popping so patient beware and read reviews before heading to anyone of these places. Luckly, I stopped at the check up and didnt go any further as I was very, very suspicious from the start. I went to the Fairfield, CT office which was empty when I went-hmm I wonder why.
