I am new to this area, and needed a new internist.. "Doctor" Sawczak came into the room with a scowl on her face and shoved my paperwork in my face announcing "I WILL NOT TREAT YOU!" And refused to answer any questions whatsoever. I do have an extensive medical history, and am dealing with thyroid disease among other things, and need someone to monitor these issues... but to be treated SO rudely and unprofessionally on this initial meeting is beyond understanding, and goes against medical ethics. I tried speaking with Dr Lydon afterwards, as well as the receptionist, and got no comfort from either. Completely disgraceful attitudes by the entire staff....

Drs. Sawczak and Lydon are a wonderful team of internists in the Martin County area. They have cared for our family members for many years, including aging parents with dementia, diabetes, and nursing home problems. They have an efficient staff, readily accessible, and you can usually get appointments when needed in quick order. They are centrally located in a free standing building with plenty of parking and it's easy to find and they keep pretty good hours. I give them an A-plus for effort and professionalism and that's what you want when you and your family are not feeling well.
