I was referred by my dentist for an abcessed tooth and root canal. The doctor examined me and determined that my pain was coming from a previous root canal, then asked to do a CT scan before doing the procedure. This scan cost me over $350 and was not covered by insurance. After the scan, he advised me to have the tooth pulled instead, then told me to go back to my dentist because he could not do that procedure. I left in a lot of pain and my dentist would not get me in right away. I called another dentist and they did a successful root canal the same day, treating me with care. I feel this doctor did not care about me and was more interested in his bottom line than patient care.
