We needed to change our primary care MD due to insurance issues. Referral came from what I thought was a reliable source. The nurse wasn't that people friendly and she did most of the preliminary exam, which is not unusual but somehow it didn't seem like she was really into her role. The MD was friendly and casual (which is better than NOT friendly and uptight) though we didn't really feel that he was much into his role as concerned doctors should be, in my opinion. We are currently in the process of seeking another provider.
