I had several teeth capped with the plastic crowns. One cracked was replaced, cracked again and took most of the remaining tooth with it, and now another one has cracked and needs replaced $$$$$. I was told that for the first I needed it removed and an implant--$ 5000++! I went to another dentist and the first tooth can be crowned, and I have to have another crown for the second. Regular crowns, not plastic, would have prevented both issues and all the extra $$$ to have this done twice.
