Dr. Perlman was kind, quickly recognized my problem, and came up with a solution. I highly recommend him.

This was a big disappointment. I'll give it one star, only because they have a clean office. I was a patient of Dr. Jeffrey Perlman for two days. I never experienced so much negligence and indifference. At that time I was having symptoms that were quite worrisome, and therefore this was an urgent matter for me. The nurse administered a series of tests, that took quite some time to perform, and I than her for this. The doctor finally showed up at the very end of the appointment, and he spent probably 3 minutes in the room with me. This was when I voiced all my concerns and was hoping for some valuable doctor-patient rapport. Dr. Perlman did not exhibit any pretense at medical objectivity, concern or even mere attention. I was told that I had absolutely nothing wrong with me, and the pain in the eye is more like a figment of imagination. I was dismissed within a minute.

A couple of weeks later the Dr’s office sent me a letter with the diagnosis, reciting some diseases and stating that, among other things, my “...condition was discussed with me and a cataract surgery will be required...”. That was an egregious lie. Then I called the office and spoke with a Dr’s assistant who sounded quite prostrate and confused, and could not definitely confirmed a single thing. I was promised that somebody would definitely call me one day and go over that letter with me. That never happened. Indeed, I went for a second opinion somewhere else and most of the previous findings were dismissed, to my great relief.

Do not waste your time with Eye Associates of Boca Raton. Thy are not the only ophthalmologist in town, and I would not be surprised if they are running without a license.
