I've had a truly horrifying experience taking my daughter to see Dr. Carolyn Chong. This was our first dental visit and since my daughter is a toddler, she was both curious and scared. Dr. Chong made no effort to address her fears or entertain her curiosity. When I heard my daughter scream the first time, I was naturally concerned. Neither Dr. Chong nor her staff would let me sit with my daughter and try calm her down. (My sense was that they don't have the time..they need to make their numbers.) Midway through the visit, my daughter's increasingly desperate cries forced me to push past the nurse and run to her side. My reward for being a concerned parent was Dr. Chong's indifference and disrespect. Seeing no way to allow this to continue, I grabbed my daughter and ended our visit. The kicker was a call from a collection agency. Her staff, instead of billing me, referred my "bill" to a collection agency. I can only assume this was in retaliation for rescuing my daughter. Parents beware! I'm posting this to as many review sites as possible because no parent should have to go through what I went through with Dr. Chong. I wouldn't recommend this woman to treat my dog much less a child.
