Dr. Tejpar does not fit the usual surgeon stereotypes. She is straightforward and no-nonsense, but she takes time to be very thorough. In the first appointment she speaks to you in her office before you go to the exam room. She truly cares about her patients and her willingness to take time, to answer questions, to be very thorough speaks volumes. She is very gentle and does everything within her power to make any surgery needed a positive experience. She does all she can to minimize any discomfort. She takes every precaution that she can to minimize risks of complications. While there is risk with any surgery, I felt safe and knew I could trust her to do all she could to keep me safe.

She also will not do surgery unless she really thinks you need it. I've referred others to her and some needed surgery, but some didn't. She is honest and professional. She also stays up-to-date, so I knew I was getting both experience and the best techniques and approaches.

I never thought I would ever be able to say that surgery can be a positive experience, but mine with Dr. Tejpar was. I highly recommend her and wouldn't even think of going to anyone else for myself or people I care about.
