My daughter went through a baclofen pump trial. Nothing but problems. She has multiple entry points on her back where it appears the doctors mistakenly inserted the tube in the wrong place. She had all sorts of problems while she was at Childrens: headaches, back pain, nausea, etc..
Now that she is back home, she has sciatica from the operation. And to top it off, Dr. Keating throws out his wisdom: "I don't think she is a good candidate for the pump, she is not very pain tolerant". In my opinion, he's not a good candidate for operating on my daughter.

Not only do they never postpone my appointment, they always try to get me in as soon as possible. I love that I can always get an appointment right away, and I never have to worry about them rescheduling it. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. I've been other places that left me unattended for quite awhile, but not here. They would never leave me unattended and they always go the extra mile to make me feel cared for. If you are tired of wasting your time with dr's who dont give you the time of day, with doctors who are rude, and uncaring, and just plain ridiculous- then take a trip to childrens. and meet Dr Keating. you will not be sorry! take a mothers word for it who has a disabled child with cerebral palsy, who has traveld to 7 plus states to find good care. finally, we found it, when we met Dr. Keating.
