Our practice specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face. As a member of the Facial Trauma Team at Memorial and Penrose hospital systems, Dr. Pelton deals with a wide range of facial injuries including motorcycle and automoble accidents, dogbites, ski accidents, gunshot wounds and many other types of trauma. Dr. Pelton teaches courses as a faculty member for AONA, an international organization dealing with the repair of facial fractures. Our cosmetic practice specializes in nonsurgical treatment of facial cosmetic issues. Dr Pelton has been injecting Botox for over 15 years surgery and facial fillers for over 13 years.

Although Dr. Pelton does surgery on the entire face, his cosmetic speciality is eyelid repair. Dr. Pelton performs hundreds of eyelid surgeries each year and has performed thousands of eyelid surgeries since he opened his practice in 2000.

Dr. Pelton. is a native of Benton, AR. and has been in solo practice in oculoplastics since 2000. He graduated from Vanderbilt University Medical School, Nashville, TN and subsequently completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX. Dr. Pelton is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Pelton is affiliated with all hospitals located in Colorado Springs, CO including the Memorial Hospital System as well as the Penrose - St. Francis Medical System. Dr. Pelton is also affiliated with several outpatient surgical centers including the Surgical Center at Premier, The Surgery Center at Printers Park and United Ambulatory Surgery Center.
