The first appointment was fine. He is very good at the meds part, and explaining all of it, clearly an expert with that part. However, when i called later to ask a question, he was mean and punishing and shaming because i cancelled my followup appointment. I cancelled within the expected time frame, and asked his assistant if it would be okay if a cancelled so i could take the meds for longer or find out if he wanted to up the dose. I did not know the protocol, but he was so bullying to me on the phone, saying i should have known. He could have educated me on the protocol without shaming or punishing me.
I did not feel emotionally safe to ever go back. Traumatizing for an already vulnerable, depressed person.
I am not a complainer, and i rarely fill these things out, but i wouldn't want someone else to go through what I did.
