You can't call this guy a doctor or psychiatrist - he is simply a drug pusher.
He cares only about the money and as long as a patient has money (and/or insurance) he will continue to prescribe drugs. As soon as the money runs out they're out the door. Don't expect a phone call, either. As far as this guy is concerned you can go pound sand.

My family recently spent $10,000 out of pocket to send my little brother to a drug treatment facility for his prescription drug problem (the insurance wouldn't cover it). As he was leaving the four week program they referred him to this hack, Dr. Fisher. We got my brother to sign a full disclosure release that stated that Dr. Fisher could disclose all of his treatments so we could review and monitor the process to make sure he wasn't getting anything narcotic or otherwise deleterious to his sobriety.
My brother began seeing Dr. Fisher and we asked for information on five different occasions, by both phone call and letter. He would not respond to anything we did to try to get a hold of him.
We later found out that Dr. Fisher had been prescribing the following narcotic drugs to my little brother concurrently:
- Xanax
- Valium
- Ambien
- Ativan

Additionally, he prescribed:
- Fluoxetine
- Nuerontin
- Seroquel

As you can probably tell, this is more medication than any 21 year old child could possibly need, especially one with chemical dependency issues.

Last night my little brother attempted to kill himself by overdosing on the medications listed above. God's be praised we managed to get him to the hospital and have his stomach pumped before he managed to fulfill his wish.

His father and I (I am his older brother - 25 years old) went to Dr. Fisher's office in Monterey today to have a word with Dr. Fisher. We simply wanted to tell him that my brother was a recovering drug addict and not to prescribe him anymore narcotic drugs - we wanted him to know they weren't being used as prescribed. Dr. Fisher wasn't in today, but there was a receptionist with a horrible attitude. She basically told us that it wasn't at all their fault, Dr. Fisher couldn't talk to us at all about my little brother's treatment despite the fact we had a release and that we could not have a world with him. When we got angry the receptionist threatened to call the police.

This is a situation that has gone from bad to horrible. Dr. Fisher cares only about the money and getting people in and out as fast as possible with whatever drugs are necessary. He has two offices open only to collect patients and push drugs in two different areas.

Make no mistake about it - Dr. Fisher is not at all interested in you or your loved ones' health. He doesn't write prescriptions with refills so that you will have to make more appointments to continue to see him. He charges $45 for a missed appointment and automatically reschedules you.

My family and I are in the process of filing a complaint to the medical license board. We would strongly encourage anybody else that has similar experiences to do the same.

My phone number is (831) 601-3966 and my name is Alex. If you have had a similar experience give me a call. I'd like to get some sort of petition for license seizure or at least a joint complaint going. I'm not a lawyer or anything like that but I do how the process works and hope that we can put an end to this stooge.

Thank you for your time.
