Dr. Reed is really down to earth and, despite my awkwardness at times, he never seems to make any judgements. He's there to listen and does so willingly. He does come off a little "business-like", but I think that's just because of his nicely pressed suits and fresh looking hair cut (he's well-groomed, lol). And Of course he's going to come off serious, as hes using the first few sessions to try and figure out your issue(s), where the underlying problems may be, AND find the RIGHT solution for you--one that you both can agree on. Give him a few sessions to get to know you, and vice versa! I've had consults with other psychiatrists and none of them ever felt right.. Maybe because they were so strict about the payments and wanted them paid in full prior to each appointment (it always comes off as being more about the money than it is about me). Dr Reed definitely never makes me feel that way. Money doesn't get brought up... He bills!

Oh, and yes he's only reachable via telephone. He's old school... & That's the way it should be in the world of psychology. He always returns your phone call the same day (as long as its a weekday). Very dependable!

Parking was fairly easy. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. Dr. Reed was very business like and not personable. Contacting Dr. Reed via e-mail, cell phone etc.was non-existent. Office phone via voice mail was the only way to contact Dr. Reed. Dr. Reed would literally fall asleep during my sessions. Unprofessional. Dispenses meds. too easily.
