I received great care from Dr Tio and her partner Dr Hyman while pregnant and through delivery but she totally botched my sons circumcision. She did not take enough or any foreskin and left it mangled. We had to have him re-circumcised at 3 yrs old. After notifying her of what happened I asked her to pay for my out of pocket expense (the portion that my insurance would not cover) and she refused. She said a circumcision is something they offer as a service and is not medically necessary. If she would have told me that before doing the circumcision I would have had a competent Dr do it to avoid having it re done. The pediatric urologist
and my pediatrician both agreed that it was not done correctly and advised that I have it redone. I was so disappointed in her actions so reader beware. Do not let her circumcise your son!
