I went to her when she was at So SF Kaiser, FOUR years ago. She was the only gyn i went to see. My freind kept encouraging me to switch b/c of my horrible experience. When i went to see her i was anemic, I had severe periods w/ debilitating pains. This woman had the audacity to downplay my experience. She was skeptical i may h ave any female issues, but offered a sonogram. Of coures it came back positive for fibroids. This is when what she did (or didn't do ) was outrageous...abominable.....after they did a b sonogram which isn't a clear image, but it did show fibroids,she refused treatment for the fibroids and kept insisting to just take bcp. Now how the hell will bcp remove the fibroids. I had submucosal ones which (i later learned) were causing the debilitating heavy periods and pain. They needed to be removed. I had to suffer needlessly for another year and later went on a diff plan and went to UCSF and had both scans done IMMEDIATELY and the surgeon wanted me to do the operation asap....it was horrible...horrible....i hope nobody experiernced what i did have to had her reject treatment like she did to me...

I'd stay clear if I were you. I wouldn't recommend them ever after my experience there. They wasn't able to answer ANY of my questions. I question how they got their degree. They are always polite and never use foul language, which I really appreciate. It's always made me uncomfortable at other places when I've heard them use foul language, but they don't here. I know I can bring my kids, and not worry about it. I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else.
